Why we built JobMom

Looking for work is hard enough. JobMom exists so the search itself stops getting in the way, and it is free because no one should have to pay to get organized.

How it started

  1. Twenty tabs and a spreadsheet

A job search rarely lives in one place. A board for remote roles, another for local ones, a spreadsheet of applications and a note that says “follow up on Friday”. Somewhere between them, a good role slips by.

  2. We built the place we wanted

Kodfabrika builds software for a living, so we did what we know: one calm workspace that searches the sources you choose, sorts results by your own rules and keeps every application in view. It started as a tool we used ourselves.

  3. Then we opened it to everyone

Once it worked for us, keeping it to ourselves felt wrong. People looking for work are often between paychecks, so JobMom has no paid plan and no trial. Kodfabrika covers the cost of building and running it.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Your search stays in your account. Export it or delete it whenever you like.
  • JobMom never applies for you. Every listing links to the original post.
  • Matching follows your rules, not a hidden score.
  • There are no ads in your workspace.

Help keep JobMom free

JobMom runs on Kodfabrika’s time and servers. If it helped you, the simplest support is telling one person who is looking for work. Supporter options are on the way.
